Re: Getting a new trans

there two types of mlps, the early ones which have a 0-5v analog output for all gears

and the "digital" 1998+ mlps which has multiple switches in it

the mlps on all fords is the same for the early ones and the later ones

Re: 04 cobra going lean help after tvs and return fuel syste

could be, you have to identify why its commanding that you are only commanding .8 lambda at WOT, that is extremely lean for E85, you should command closer to .7 lambda, more fuel and more power and more safety you scaled manifold volume the wrong direction you corrupted the deltap multipliers i kick...

Re: 04 cobra going lean help after tvs and return fuel syste

its not going lean thats what its commanding, see STFT is at 1.29

yep as long as manifold ref line is hooked to frps it should log delatp unless the pumps cant keep up then itll drop

looks like your using sct, post your before and after tune and ill take a look

Re: LPi Support?

i would ditch speed density for flex fuel vehicles the old ford sd control isnt efficient enough for my standards tk control varying fuel blends

best bet is swap to maf and just dial it in, then when u run lpi dial that in

Re: LPi Support?

no i have not, i have no experience with it

i do not know of any open source defs for it

i would also recommend coverting to maf as you would have far greater fuel control for your specific application

Re: eecv mustang 99gt 5spd base tune.

00 GT 5spd may be different

verify the edf_pin_loc dwfhp and invrt scalars for the fan hardware control

make sure the ac_rly_is_nc is the same as well

otherwise 99-01 GT is identical

Re: Octane switch Spark table

don't know how you missed it, type in octane and its the only 2 that pop up

1 is for the enabled disable switch the other has the value you want it to adjust, its signed so you can add or remove timing

thats in tunerpro

Re: Stalling Issue

no SCT is fine no prob, all the SW is the same basically, its just an editor but yea moates QH is far superior the realtime tuning itself is worth its weight in gold as long as the maf is linear its smoothness isnt really a concern, usually tho if theres non linearities its due to poor injector dial...

Re: Octane switch Spark table

spk_oa or whatever its named is enabled when the octane bar switch present is enabled in the tune and that pin IS NOT grounded

grounding that pin turns off the octane bar flag same as plugging the octane bar in on vehicles so equipped

yes u can use it to reduce timing

Re: 97 4.6 coil pack to COP conversion

its a very easy swap you have two options you can keep what you have and just run the coil on plug in wasted spark with the cdan4 - tbird ecu. Thats what a lot of the early cobra guys do to get rid of the coil packs and clean up the engine bay. Would be the easiest. Or swap the ecu harness for the m...
