Re: new member, having a hell of a time with cdan4

make sure you have inferred load somewhere in the ballpark

if so and the fuel error is moving then you have a fuel supply issue

Re: Modular Timing on E85

I wouldn't recommend commanding any more than 25 deg at 0 vac / 0 boost over 3k rpm and only 20 deg at peak tq rpm, then shoot no more than 21-23 degrees to it up top at 25psi and no more than 15-16 deg at peak tq in boost the 4v engines are very tolerant to ignition timing with e85 and even more so...

Re: A9L2 Tune into 8LD EEC progress

lambse's aren't supposed to be stuck at 1 in closed loop, in closed loop the lambses jump around to make the hegos switch. You'll know by the lambses jumping up and down.

Re: SAFTOT Not Matching OBD Spark

most likely yes, just get him to verify its logging the correct address on coil on plug eec-v such as yours there is also a feedback spark value, spk_actual or something like that name. Its the actual spark advance calculated from when the edis module gets the feedback spark pulse. Its pretty nice I...

Re: qh issue with tunerpro on a lb3 ecu

dont take this the wrong way but if you can't line up where your at in hex which is about as simplistic as it gets you probably shouldn't be re-writing code.

Not trying to dissuade you just stating the obvious.

Re: Current tune suggestions

I have no idea what your asking but in open loop the fuel error cannot be calculated automatically since the hegos aren't controlling fuel.

just put it in closed loop and let tunerpro tell you your fuel error. I don't understand why your over-complicating things and making it so difficult.

Re: A9L2 Tune into 8LD EEC progress

thats cold enrichment, its not uncommon to command .7 lambse and only get 1.00 lambda on a cold engine thus why you have to get up to stable operating temp to dial in fuel

sounds like exhaust temp protection kicking in your inferred exhaust temp is out of wack, something screwy in your tune you can shut it off, theres 3 temp protection switches. fln_tmp_sw, cat_tmp_sw and ego_tmp_sw something along those lines, im going off the top of my head but u should be able to f...
