its the wires that go in the trans. should have the main connector with an o ring that you push up in to the trans case and the tcc, solenoids tot and epc plugs

Re: Check FN035 Sans SC Belt

I dont understand what your saying if your car is tuned properly and you simply remove the blower belt your car should run perfectly fine and optimal being n/a unless your tune is not dialed in properly. When the ecu doesnt see any boost perload wont exceed 1.00 and thus load will be lower. So your ...

Re: Check FN035 Sans SC Belt

N/A and SC tune should be the exact same tune. if you get low timing and high fuel simply by just taking the blower belt off then your tune isn't dialed in correctly.

Re: 1999 3.0 Misery

im not familiar with that trans but on the aode they are notorious for trans fluid leaking past the main bulk connector in to the harness and shorting things out. Henry made a better designed bulkhead for the 4rs shortly there after. Usually its accompanied by the tcc shorting and remaining locked w...

Re: 1999 3.0 Misery

no i don't believe so, thats a primary harness feed. If nothing changed I would first suspect a faulty ignition switch. Or possibly one of the o2 sensor wires got melted on the exhaust and is causing a dead short.

Re: Calibrated Mafs...what gives?

Being a tuning forum I was referring specifically to tuning them. 20 years ago people relied on calibrated MAF's since there wasn't a whole lot of support available for tuning the ecu's. At that time it was "ok" to have drive ability issues since that's basically all you had to work with p...

Re: EFIDynoTuning Fleet - Latest Addition 03 Marauder

The vic's are heavy cars with an under powered engine. I suppose its good enough for law enforcement and taxis but to the enthusiast it leaves a bit to be desired. Its cheaper. You only have the initial investment of the hardware and sw to read and write the ecu's. If you get fed up with it and want...

Re: Calibrated Mafs...what gives?

First I've heard of anyone looking down upon them. Any MAF that can accurately meter the air going in to the engine is perfectly fine. Its original application is irrelevant. If anyone tells you different they're probably just ignorant. Others may have different opinions but I don't personally see a...

Re: Eliminating knock 4.6 Vortech

for the trans youll have to make sure you have a higher torque value at the upper loads in the engine torque table so trans pressure doesnt drop at wot and shifting

Re: Eliminating knock 4.6 Vortech

borderline but you have to simplify spark to get it to function correctly first you need to get the base fuel dialed in before messing with transients, you can go cut manifold volume in half though until you do I have 3.6.26 hpt sw on my laptop, says it too old wont let me look at the tune file 70c ...
