Re: FLH2 Temperature Shutdown

no it's obvious you do not comprehend interpolation

what happens at 238 ect?

you have to have on/off switches you cannot interpolate a complete fuel shut off, and your ect multiplier is dumping fuel not killing it

Re: Base Calibration Question

I load in the a9l2 on all the foxes I tune, its been ages since I've been able to play with a bone stock fox but it should work fine as troy said though I have dashpot kicked up a touch the spark table and maf should be fine for a stock setup, always good to give it a little finesse though and actua...

idle spark is controlled the same way it is on all 94+ strategies, spark reserve is target not to exceed MBT, all the details are in the spark write up on the homepage make sure the closed throttle flag is set and that iscdc is lowish < 35%, if so then go ahead and turn down the throttle stop to tak...

Re: SAD Disassembler Issues

sounds simple but what about in the case when you have separate tables that use the size of the table to increment to the next? for example, in the trans routines you'll often see the size of the table get added to the base address which is a pointer+offset to get at the current trans torque convert...

Re: FLH2 Temperature Shutdown

ah I see I didn't even pay attention to that, that's really not ideal, its not good to flood the engine out and stall it, over fueling an engine and stalling it can do more damage than overheating it, worse case you hydro-lock the engine and throw a rod through the block, best case you hose down the...

Re: Wideband ground

the ground is most likely fine, I usually ground the wideband to the lug next to the ecu that it uses

most likely you need to dial in your transfer function a touch more. Best bet is to put the wideband in lambda and set up the transfer in BE for lambda as well.

yep fuel costs are a consideration most especially on a daily driver or work vehicle. best bet with e-85 is to convert to the better more powerful and accurate edis ignition used on 1991 and newer designed Ford's. It's as simple as using the 5L explorer ignition setup and mating the cam stalk with t...

Re: MAF upgrade. When?

it's time to upgrade when it pegs, that depends on a few things, first is wiring, I've seen some older foxes only able to reach 4.6 mafv and peg probably due to high resistance in the wiring, others I've seen get up over 5v, the other would be if it's too restrictive and the others would be trivial ...

Re: 99 mustang v6 to 5.0HO swap

what is your lambse commanding?

double check your fuel pressure if it checks out rape the maf curve to dial the fuel in, then after you get the fuel dialed in compare it to the stock MAF curve to see if its the injectors that need to be dialed in or if its just the maf that needs the love

Have only the e85 / large injector ECU control the IDM and SPOUT. Have each ecu control its own independent fuel pump(s). Simply dial in both se...
