Re: Act to iat pmas hpx

depends on if you have a cold air intake or stock air box == ~ambient temps or a hot air intake ~110+ deg that most cold air intakes really are If your filter is in the engine bay then you have a hot air intake so you can start yanking timing at 130+ if your filter is outside the engine bay and you ...

Re: LC1 Analog Out

nope never experienced anything like that i don't recommend messing with any of the setting on the lc1 leave it all at default values I would highly advise against using an lc1 or any wideband that doesn't have a native display to let you know what the actual lambda is. Best bet would be to upgrade ...

Re: Holley Dual Sync Dizzy

no, you only need the tfi input if using your current ecu. If using an eec-v to simulate EDIS you would need the cam trigger too. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- theres a space between there This will be displayed on the right hand side of your posts under...

Re: MZAK0 V10 6.8L strategy available?

you can't enable emulation since there is none for that strategy. if you can't read the bin and write it to the qh and have it run same as before either your j3 port is not cleaned (you didn't get all the plastic off the contacts) or your not pulling the file correctly. post the file you read from t...

Re: Holley Dual Sync Dizzy

figured it was n/a and stock since you didn't put any specifics about your vehicle info in your profile

if they can put a ford tfi output in there that would work as well which is the same signal as your current distributor.

Re: Holley Dual Sync Dizzy

if it produces the same hall effect crank trigger signal as DIS does then you can use it no problem. DIS is a pip per cylinder tdc. For the cam sensor it would need to have the edge at 26d btdc. If all is correct then its simple enough to change a few scalars in the tune and run a few wires continue...

Re: VE Table Question

cam moves tq so some colns values will all go down and some columns values will all go up

heads changes the whole table. Only way to dial it in is to hold each cell and plug in the fuel error.

95/85== 1.11

you made it 11% richer there.

Re: MZAK0 V10 6.8L strategy available?

Simply read the tune out the ecu and write it to the qh and it should run just like it does with the qh removed. You can use amy of the 4 bank def files to write the qh. Just dont change anything. make sure u follow the instructions in the getting started write up http://www.efidynotuning.com/starte...

Re: A9L2 Base Calibration

the resolution outlined in the a9l2 maf transfer. Just plug in your flow for those counts so the histogram stays correct and its easier for you to dial in. on the earlier ecu's the maf ad count conversion is what causes the maf voltage to extend all the way up to 16v. Its only done as a failsafe if ...

Re: PCM replacment

how are you going to write your vin to the pcm?

best bet would be to get a 2006 ranger manual ecu and snatch the injectors and maf and inlet piping from the same truck. No pats and off you go.

Re: Lets talk 3V VCT

I don't know what your referring to about the obdii detection threshold? p0605 is a checksum fault has nothing to do with the obdii monitors, thats sct not calculating the checksum correctly your wot fuel function is .83 that would mean your 6% lean up top air filter should have no affect on AFR 16 ...

that is a mess spark isn't simplified at all and theres a bunch in there I don't like such as all the obd2 monitors (misfire detection) disabled

are you running it on e85? how much timing do you have in her up top? what is your actual lambda from the wideband up top?

Re: Lets talk 3V VCT

its not much different than the ecc-v's really all the same algorithms

intake is where your top end comes from. If you can open the intake sooner you can make more power. The stock 5.4 cams aren't designed for higher rpms.

09 5.4 has a 6r80 ??

just shoot over the mtf i'll take a look

yes, if the HW code matches

No

correct
