Re: EFI-SD40a

highly unlikely your rails would get hot enough to boil the fuel under pressure but its no biggie. 58psi is fine.

you will have to calculate the injector flow at 58psi and apply that data to your tune

Re: 94 chevy k1500 tbi tune

If memory serves you have to take the chip off the board and solder on a socket.

Check out moates.net to see what they have for your ecu.

Re: EFI-SD40a

You cab prob multiply the slope by 4.52 to get it in the ballpark if you set the base fuel pressure to 30psi for the 80s.

no theres never any reason to start over just multiply the cranking pw by 0.22 for the new injectors.

Re: 1997 F-150 Tuning support

a 97 ecu is going to be a 2 bank which tunerpro does not support datalogging on 2 banks as of currently

pcmflash is to read and write only no daralogging but it does not work on 2 banks as of currently

Post back with the 97 f150 pcm pin out. It may be a simple plug and play swap to a newer ecu.

Re: developing a plan

the wot lambse multiplier adjusts lambse so it makes no difference for dialing in fuel.

simply multiply the high slope by 0.97 and your fuel up top should be spot on.

multiplying by 0.985 for 1.5% is fine too makes no difference.

Re: Options for pegged MAF

Ive never heard not to use any maf for blow thru. I don't see how it matters as they all function the same. Any maf sensor element will peg if you put it in a small enough housing. 1- good idea 2- works too 3- same problem remains there is no such thing as draw thru or blow through specific sensors....

Re: rhagb .xdf ?

There is no publicly available xdf for it hence the reason to swap strategies.

If there was a complete xdf available for your strategy then that would defeat the purpose in swapping strategies.

Post your stock tune and I'll see if I can convert it for you.

Re: Breakpoint setting for Deka 80# in AL92, TunerPro, 347

no they aren't linear down low hence the large difference in the slopes

They are very repeatable though so the injectors have excellent control.

If the maf transfer they gave you looks to be right then just dial in the injectors

Re: 5.4 2v vs 4.6 2v

I would take the 5.4 over the 4.6 any day of the week. If your doing the swap you might as well toss on some trickflow (non R) heads to make it worthwhile. Thats an easy bolt on +150rwhp. The stock heads are the restriction. It will make the same power on a 5.4 as a 4.6 but the 5.4 gives you more to...

Re: Coyote Engines Ghost Cam tune

no, in order to shoot flames out the back you have to kill ignition so unburnt fuel goes in to the exhaust then ignites on the way out when it hits fresh oxygen. sludge is no good. I would run it with half oil and half trans fluid til it got up to operating temperature ~15 min. Drain it and replace the oil and filter.

Could help with any sludge left over in there. Hopefully nothing important got gunked up too bad.

yes just start polling and bring up the fuel pump histogram and select averaging then go for a cruise

once youve got enough good data apply it to your fuel pump voltage table

/done

they are roughly 320lph and will support over 500rwhp on e85 no prob

Re: Marauder walbro 450

you dont want a walbro. Get a stock coyote pump for a 2014 mustang gt and toss that in.

You just simply drive and let the fuel pump voltage histogram populate then after youve driven enough to get good data you copy the values over to the fuel punp voltage table.

nothing to it
