Moates Quarterhorse corrupting tunes - How I solved it!

After like 5 years the wait is over and I got on my hands my first quarterhorse, I always wanted one, but im foreign and it was much harder to get one and in 2022 I lost my hope... Or no? The thing is that I bought my first quarterhorse with BE dongle!! Seller stated it worked fine that he just went Holley, I paid another extra 100 to get it shipped to my place and after 2 months the wait was over.

Extremely excited I did the procedure to prepare the EEC IV (95 Mustang GT) and write Decipha's U4P2 tune just to discover the car would constantly run the fuel pump and fans.

At this point, I already triple checked:
-Cleaned ports on the EEC as it should
-Loaded original tune, cleared RAM and tried different methods to solve any software problem
-Voltage on the battery
-Continuity from the J3 connector on the QH to the board itself (I noticed they are prone to fail because I THINK previous owner kinda bend it a little to fit an EEC with capacitors on the way)
-Tested my own EEC
And I don't remember what else.

To not make the story longer, I spent days doing my research and doing anything advised online, when I was about to give up, I then find what appears to be a broken trace in the circuit of the Quarterhorse.

At this point you may not see anything but let's close up...

The power line of the battery is teared up, I can assume this was because when someone changed the battery broke the trace.

Here's a better close up labeled.

And here is how I fixed it! Just soldered a with a small wire from a strand directly from the battery to the diode #4.
This should last enough until I get another QH in my hands.
Tried again and car started right off! Now Im ready to get my tune done with the boss Decipha :)

Re: best new laptop for $500

Consider any Lenovo Thinkpad, they are available in small size, big power, that's what it use to program in my job.

Re: Minimal posts

I think Facebook group would be a good idea AS AN EXTRA, specially because most likely we all carry our cellphones all the time and sharing would be easier.
