Re: At what RPM does a single coil not have enough dwell time

Thanks, i thought it was closer to 7500, glad i asked. I'm helping a friend spec out his Holley setup and told him COP was a better option. It's a 408w with afr 225 heads with a ysi. I'm going to try and convince him to go with COP.

At what RPM does a single coil not have enough dwell time

I remember reading somewhere that a single coil doesn't have enough dwell time to provide strong spark above a certain rpm. At what point should COP or even wasted spark be considered.

They aren't explorer covers. The explorer has a removable filter neck. I've got a set off my 96 in my garage. They aren't the same

I see the Temu link doesn't work because they sold out of the cheap pliers. Mine from Temu look a lot like what you have.

ADDEDAfter looking at your pictures, I hope my cheap pliers have the correct jaw.

Re: Stock slot MAF in a 4 inch tube

I just found the transfer for a 4 inch tube. Just need to know if they are all the same across 05-09 Fords. Thanks.

Stock slot MAF in a 4 inch tube

Any issues with running a stock slot MAF from an 05-09 mustang (or other ford) in a 4 inch tube? I want to make sure ill have enough resolution. I'll be running a draw through setup. Are they all the same calibration across Ford's? Im gonna grab one from a junk yard car. What years did they go to frequency based mafs? 11+?

I have to tell you it's a night and day improvement over the earlier model (Deka IV) data I had tried using before. It's nice to be able to input changes and have the expected result come back to you in a log. It helped me figure out very quickly that my MAF transfer function was accurate and the car is running best ever! I'm super happy you pointed me towards this info. Hope it works out as well for you when you get around to working on the truck again.

Really good to know the days i posted is wiring good. I'm still collecting parts for my truck but I'm pretty close to getting it running. My watts link suspension just showed up.

ECT location

Is there any issue with putting the ECT sensor on the drivers side front instead of the passenger side front?
