Re: 06 Mustang with 93 Lincoln Engine/Trans/ECU

Hey Pat, Lance here. The Drive By Wire would need to be cable converted for the MK8 setup. Your 06 Mustang ECU is for a 6 cylinder, so manipulating a cable is required. Keep in mind If you update the ECU to EECV, you will need to address the TCC and shift solenoids in the trans as the resistance is ...

Re: Can the Superchips 1100 Blue Chip be programmed?

another thing to think about is when you load a file to the buffer, ensure it keeps the original addressing. some tunes can be 32k or 16k and cause the addressing to skew on the load. a true 56k tune file will be 57344 in size and keep the addresses mentioned above when loaded. like this.. http://ma...

Re: Can the Superchips 1100 Blue Chip be programmed?

Yes. Load BIN, burn position selected. Always erase the chip before writing begins. That will ensure no corruption. Just try to burn all 4 positions on one session. If you developed a BSL (Bin Stacker Layout) you can supposedly burn up to 8 tunes. I don't think the SCT6600 will support that, but I n...

1 bank 56k chip addressing 032000 start 03FFFF end buffer addressing 000000 start 00DFFF end select positions 0-3 and write to each position at the same time. Example: all 4 tunes at the same time. Re: [3.8 95 v6] Big cam. Needs cranking fuel.

have you changed the injector timing at all? Reason I ask is.. Sorry.. all I have is the CDAN4 to reference.. FN1315 The Injector Delay table values are the crankshaft degrees where the injector stops firing. For camshafts with larger than stock overlap, these values should be increased accordingly....

Re: Curious about what EEC-V could be retrofitted to...

Trick flow 2v 44 heads will bump the hell out of the compression and burn better than the 4v OEM heads for sure. Yields more room and better power where you need it. That's a no brainier.. Keep the Teksid and 8 bolt the crank, get some good lightweight rods/slugs and have many options to go with on ...

I would stick with the 4V and C head it.

Why re-invent the wheel?

Also, I have a complete CDBA4 TunerPro XDF for the 1996 Lincoln Mark VIII available.

Re: CDAN4 SARCHG

I'll grab a screenshot tomorrow. The scaling scalars are not just one address. They're are 7. So when I need to actually change the lbs/mass or whatever it is, it needs to be done in 7 addresses. Found this out while trying to add larger than 42's in my 2 bank Lincoln Mark VIII turbo car. Scaled wro...

Re: CDAN4 SARCHG

Lol! I'm OCD.. Basically I skimmed thru a CDAN4 binary and found 6 other addresses for scaling lbs/mass. Whipped up an address to hold a scalar that calculates all 7 and converts to CID value. Re: 2001 Mustang PCM/ECU damaged with error code P0602

TunerPro will not address the SCT files. TunerPro will read chips that are burned with SCT PRP and convert the format to binary to use in TunerPro. There is no conversion from standard binary to .MTF formatted binary that I know of. To gain full access to the ECU, grab the ECU's binary and load in a...

if using an eliminator chip, look for the "Fail" light on the chip.

Re: Is there a way to read or convert a .CEF file to .MTF?

not that I've found..

I just read the flashed ECU and convert to BIN, but that does nothing for getting it to the MTF type binary conversion.

Even when I've tried to read a MTF in a good editor, far as I can get is checksum value and customer info.
