Re: Is The Site Down??

I'm getting the same screen when I type the site name in the top bar. Only way I can get to the forum is by searching for the site in Google and then clicking on the forum link. A other links take me to a 404 page.

Do you still have these pins for EEC-V?
I never had any for an EEC-V and I sold all the ones I had for an EEC-IV.

Will AHAC2 work with IVY0?

Got a friend with a 93 F150 that has a 5.0 and a 94 Bronco ECM in it. His ECM has IVY0 on it and using the search box in the downloads page I was brought here. Would it be safe to use? Also, would the Quarterhorse be able to read the stock bin?

Thanks!

Re: And on the subject of EEC terminals...

Just to update, I've sold all of the remaining connector pins I had, but here is the information where I purchased them:

Nexus Electronics
E7EB-14488-GA (18ga.)
E7EB-14488-NA (14ga.)

The lowest quantity they sell is 200ea.

Re: Fan running constantly

I had an issue with the fuel pump in my car running constantly and the car not wanting to start. Turned out to be the caps in the computer were due for a replacement. Once changed the car fired right up.

Foxbody to CBAZA

I just downloaded the most current T4M2 file (thanks for posting this!) and I just wanted to make sure that I did the conversion right the first time. I Followed the write up for both CBAZA and for the conversion just to make sure I got my data in correctly. Everything seems very easy to follow, but I just want to make sure I'm getting al the little details correct. Could someone please confirm that I'm correctly disabling the following parameters?

- CCD. I changed IGN_TYPE - Ignition Type (CCD_SW) from 1 to 0.
- FPM. Pump Voltage Test SW - V_FPMFLG, I left this un-checked.
- AM1 and AM2. I could not find this, but is it THRMHP - Thermactor Present? I left this un-checked.
- CANP. I"m not quite sure what this is. Is this Allow O/L Canister Purge - PURGSW? It is currently checked, does it need to be un-checked?
- Octane. I found two parameters, ?? Octane Plug Present - OCTADJHP and Octane Plug Spark Retard - SPK_OA. The first is un-checked and the second is set to 0.00. Leave as is?
- Smog. Does this refer to EPT Smog Pump Test Enable - V_DELPFE_HP (EGRHP / PFEHP)? The value is currently set to 2. Is this correct parameter? Does it need to be changed?
- Thermactor. Is this connected to the thermactor being present? THRMHP is currently un-checked. Any other thermactor parameters need to be changed?

I apologize for the long post and list of questions, I just want to make sure that I'm doing this corretly.

Thanks!

DFSO problems

Hello,

I've been chasing a stalling issue after using the latest CBAZA file. When I push the clutch in sometimes the engine would just die. I started logging to see if it was something obvious and I noticed that the LAMBSE would climb to 2.000 when I let off the gas and the car also felt like it was slowing down much faster. If I push in the clutch while the LAMBSE are at 2.000 the engine would die, if I push in the clutch while the LAMBSE are some normal value, the engine would return to idle. I compare the DFSO values to the ones on the previous CBAZA file and I noticed that there are two parameters that are different

- DFSO Lambse Commanded (LAMBDA) - DFSLAM (Decel Fuel Error), was 1.000 now it's 2.000
- DFSO Lambse Commanded - DFSLAM, was 0.000 now is 1.000

I also noticed that the car is really slow to recover from the DFSO and it almost feels like a have a dead pedal for a couple of seconds, sometimes the engine even pops. This is very pronounced when letting off to enter a turn and trying to apply gas for the exit. There is a distinct delay of when the power comes back on. This issue is not present if the LAMBSE values are somewhat normal (closer to 1.000).

Would returning the values to the previous tune eliminate this behavior?

I understand that DFSO is used to save fuel, and my car could use all the help it can get. I can barely muster 230 miles a tank driving like a normal human being. What would you recommend I try to keep DFSO active and improve the drivability?

Lastly, do I need to make sure DFSO is turned off when I'm logging to exclude false lean data? I know this is done in the GM world. - EDIT, I just looked at the OL/CL flag and I see that it's set at OL so I believe from the right ups that it should not affect the MAF logging.
